Pap,
As much as I respect and like your posts, I have to give you a big WTF. Joe Greene, the anchor of the line that one 4 Super Bowls in 6 Years a 3rd place finisher??? Behind Peezy, JH, and Lloyd??? Joe Green, the man that refused to accept losing, the man that changed the attitude of the entire team, last on your 3rd place finishers???
The question was who are your favorite players on offense and defense, not who had the most to do with turning around the franchise and winning Super Bowls. When it comes to favorite players, since I'm not a real X's and O's kind of guy, watching what linemen do isn't really all that much fun, except when they get a sack or tackle for loss. Linebackers, running backs, quarterbacks, wide receivers they're the glamor guys and are "fun to watch", so for me they became favorites from a laymen's point of view.

Pappy
The question isn't who was the best Steelers, but who was the most favourite to watch. Kordell on a good day was a riot!

I know that, because someone questioned my sanity for not having Joe Greene in my top two groups of three and I explained why. Kordell was fun to watch on a good day, but on a bad day, it was a train wreck.
