The game is awful but Baltimore is in a close game and so is cincy. I guess we should have expected Ben to return and be a little rusty but this has been putrid.
Now they decide to open up the playbook, maybe too late now. Chargers was selling out against the run all game yet the kept trying to run in early downs.

Ben hasn't been the problem. He has saved 7-8 plays with his legs. Couldn't understand why the OL was so bad until I realized Legursky was back in.
I still suspect we need to draft more OL.
Get real. Got 3 games to go...1 is with Cincy.

Yea I worded that wrong. I agree on him saving some plays. THe offense just hasn't been dialed up and really it's been the defense not getting them off the damn field in conjunction with trying to run the ball while they sold out to stop the run.
OL was horrible before Legursky came in bud

True dat Pitt. Oh, look another holding call on STs!
Steelers were believing their "no one wants to play these guys" press. The Ravens just opened up an 8 point lead, the season could indeed be finished up.
The defense has always been suspect against a dink & dunk offense...
34-10, welcome back Big Ben! I guess the defense thought they could take the day since Ben was back too. The WHOLE freaking team sucked arse today. I shiver to think about them in the playoffs.
Sorry wasn't the defense today SD Pitt

Can't beat the 4-8 Chargers at home? Even if by some miracle the Steelers make the playoffs, they'll be one and done. This team needs an infusion of youth and talent at some key positions. Coaching staff needs to look at what they're doing...too many duds from them this season, too.
Starting with Mr. Fancy words
pathetic display of football.
Don't understand why they lose to sorry teams!!' Totally disappointing team performance
Time has come for Mr. Fancy Words to bear the blame for this mess of a season. Too much inconsistency. Poor decisions by the whole coaching staff and WTF is up with STs? The OLine has sucked air for 5+ years and can't get it fixed. THis is truly disappointing.
Haley gameplan killed this game looked liked Arian's to me.
We change OCs and the offense looks the same...who's responsible for that? I say the HC. He hasn't fixed the OL situation, Ben was running for his life with barely 2 seconds to find an open WR. You can throw alot of blame around after looking this bad against a 4 win team, but the HC has gotten too many passes in my opinion.
We just suck. Period.
Eh, Todd Haley gets a mulligan from me. I think he wanted to establish the running game to take some of the pressure off Ben because it wasn't clear how Ben would perform his first game back. Besides, it's not really Haley's fault that the offense couldn't convert two 3rd-and-1's and a 4th-and-1 in the first half. If Haley deserves to be criticized, it's for taking a bit too long to adjust. At least he knows how to make adjustments, unlike his predecessor.
The reason the Steelers lost this game was because they did not control the line of scrimmage on either side of the ball. The offensive line sucked, and the defensive front seven couldn't get enough pressure on Philip Rivers despite the patchwork offensive line in front of him. And I am starting to get tired of Mike Tomlin's teams playing to the level of their competition.
Yes we suck but the bengals are trying to prove they suck more.
...and how many penalties today?
If the girls win, retract this thread. Lol
Bengals lose
OK we still good. Bengal as lose.
...and how many penalties today?
That's my other main complaint with Tomlin's teams: they're undisciplined. Bill Cowher's teams were never so heavily penalized.
Nah, we're not good at all. We lost to 3 teams in the AFC West who don't have as many wins as the Texans combined. LOL, we ain't good!
Ravens about to lose in OT.. Bungles just lost
Rats lose......
Steelers Lose....

Kill joy. :D
Hooray for failing to seize a golden opportunity!
Steelers lost an opportunity since Balt loses.

Coulda been somebody. Could have been a contender.
Wait, Balt and Cinci both lost too.
Steelers need to right the ship quickly. Regardless of what other teams did today, we need to win out.
I wish I could just get happy about Tomlin. He is like that girl you want to date, but she has odd habits that make it hard to go all in on the relationship. He's great, he sucks. He says the right things, he doesn't make moves that are obvious. He has great players, he gives away games that are "gimmies".
It would be very cool to be very excited about him, but I just can't
The real issue is thath Ford Fixer went to the game. I really think it's his fault.
