sick beats: are you just regurgitating what you've read somewhere or did you actually see him play three or four games?
The best part is that he is only spouting what some guy writes as a weakness. If that is the case I can write:
[h=4]Weaknesses[/h] Is more thinly built in the lower body. Inconsistent technician. Has a tendency to play tall. Down-to-down effort lacks consistency. Lacks discipline on and off the field and has had to be managed closely since he arrived on campus. Needs to learn what it means to be a pro. Plays in spurts and is too much a of flash player -- does not consistently dominate like he could. Is still immature and finding his way -- too much of a follower.
Do you want this guy in the fourth? I don't. Undisciplined, immature, poor technique, I don't think that he makes the roster...
By the way, that is from the scouting report on Jadaveon Clowney. :D
Against our Buckeyes, he had only three catches for a paltry 28 yards...
Unfortunately for us, two of those went for TDs...
He made em count.
This is a great draft pick.
Most people, not just those on this board, disagree with you...who should I believe?
Most people are homers and zealots who lack objectivity, so they just buy into every positive hype in the land of bias. I am not most people.
He's not the most consistent guy, but when he does catch the ball, he has a tendency to make big plays and take it to the house. He may have only 61 catches, but 13 of them were touchdowns and he was averaging 22.2 yards per catch. His combination of size and speed is rare, so this is certainly a worthy risk/reward selection in round 4 (I believe Ike Taylor was suggesting last month that we take Bryant in round 2). It's understandable that he did not have much production until this season, because before that he was working behind a couple of 1st round picks in Sammy Watkins and DeAndre Hopkins. I wouldn't be surprised if we make back-to-back CB picks in the 5th round now.

It's national sportwriters, sportscaster, former scouts, etc. Those guys are not homers who lack objectivity and buy into the hype. Draft weekend is the one time when all football fans can be optimistic about the future. If you're still a buzzkill even now, I'm not sure when you would ever be a pleasure to be around, man. Would you care to enlighten us regarding what the correct picks would have been in rounds 1-4 for the Steelers so far?

But when you combine these faults with a once-in-20-years physical ability, it kind of makes up for his faults. Bryant does not have once-in-20-year physical ability. There are 20 players IN THIS DRAFT who match or exceed Bryant's physical skills. Clowney is a physical freak. No comparison whatsoever.

No. Because any selections would have been the wrong ones...
Similar in size and intelligence, Shazier has an enormous advantage in speed. His 4.38-second time in the 40-yard dash was almost unheard of at the position, whereas Mosley's 4.68 was similar to a three-down inside linebacker such as Nick Barnett, who ran 4.71 at the exact same size before joining the Packers as their first-round selection in 2003.
Furthermore, Shazier beat Mosley in the vertical jump (42 inches to 35), the broad jump (10-10 to 9-10) and reps on the bench press (25 to 15).
"Shazier is the most explosive guy in the draft," a third NFC personnel man said. "Rare explosive. Tough as hell. Plays hard. Fastest guy on the field.
Look, Sick Beats is just P!SSED cause the Steelers took Shazier over HIS guy Mosley. Which based on Mosley Injuries and durability concerns WAS the correct Choice. And EVERY Scout agrees, The Above was a statement from Bill Polian on Shazier and Mosley.
As for our 2nd rounder....Sick Beats...PLEASE, find ONE, just one scouting service that didn't have Tuitt as a top-30 guy ? And we got him at 46. Now, I KNOW it wasn't Nix, the Fat Boy you wanted. But that does NOT make him a Bad choice.
And Archer, the 2 weeks before the draft was maybe the drafts most fastest climber. Several teams had Archer in for Interviews. And many of the top scouting services had Archer as a top-100 pick. So how is he according to you, a player in the 160-175 area...as you stated ?
Bottom line Sick Beats, you have a right to state your personal Opinion. But please, stop stating outright LIES about the Players, and where they were ranked. Cause you just make yourself look even Dumber then you are.
