Man, those are some hard core folks - getting there at 6:30 and before sunrise.
I love the smart move Hossa sign...
Re: Stanley Cup Victory Parade Pictures
Oh, how I wish they would have won the cup last week while I was on vacation. I would
have made the trip out there early in the A.M.
I'll plan better for next year when they're back. :tt2

Or...the local politicians could plan a Sunday afternoon parade following a Friday night win to accommodate those of us who, you know, actually work for a living!!!
Re: Stanley Cup Victory Parade Pictures
That's exactly what my wife said Ruthless. Have it on a Sunday.

Well, your wife is a smart woman then! (except for the whole "marrying you" part, of course). :moon :P

Hey, she got a hell of a bargain with me.
Re: Stanley Cup Victory Parade Pictures
Yeah, it would have been great having it on Sunday...I was up there this weekend! It about killed me to leave on Sunday to head back to VA, knowing that the Parade was on Monday...but had some stuff down here that wouldn't wait...Next time, my husband and I will plan better.
The ongoing joke now in my family is that we need to plan a family wedding for around the world series...I got married in Jan right before the AFC championship...Steelers win the Super Bowl. My cousin got married on Saturday, and Friday night, the Penguins win the Stanley cup...we figure if someone else gets married around the World Series, maybe the Pirates will win...or maybe hell will freeze over...<<sigh>>
