I'd love to see #31 get in, but i think he's going to have a hard time.
IMO, Dawson will get in sooner- or at least should.
Of course we'll really get a sense of where the "steeler sentiment" is in 2009. If Rod isn't a first round selection- then something is amiss.

Although #26 will always be a Steeler in our minds (and likely his own mind as well), HOF voters may remove their anti-Steeler bias briefly since he also played briefly with the Niners, Ravens, and Raiders. If Rod does not go in first ballot, and somebody else like Deion Sanders does, that would be yet another outrage.

while that would pizz me of, something fierce- deion should be a 1st time selection as well... so i couldn't really gripe about him getting in.
