Re: Fantasy Recommendations
If I had my pick of the litter of RB's this week, two near the top of the list would be Clinton Portis against the Lions (probably pretty pricey for you, though, if you have to stay under a certain salary cap level) and the somewhat less expensive Thomas Jones against the Chiefs. I even picked up Jones' backup, Leon Washington, as a one-week injury and bye week fill-in because the Chiefs give up over 200 rushing yards per game, meaning that even backup RB's are useful against that squad (did you see what LenDale White and Chris Johnson did to them last week?).
Re: Fantasy Recommendations
I was thinking about both of them options. The person that I have to catch up with also has Portis so that eliminated that option.
I picked up Favre specifically because of playing the Chiefs and I was also thinking Jones. I was thinking that the Chiefs may put 8 in the box to stop the run and Favre will burn them on play action...

Well, even though they both may ultimately end up playing, Coles has been hampered with concussion and thigh issues recently, and Cotchery has been hampered with shoulder and leg issues as well, so it should hurt Favre if he has to rely on the likes of Chansi Stuckey, Brad Smith, and David Clowney. Add that to the fact that the Chiefs are the middle of the pack in terms of pass defense (195 yards per game with 5 TD's allowed through the air) vs. dead last in terms of run defense (207 yards per game with 12 TD's allowed on the ground), and I would prefer Jones and a different QB (maybe someone like McNabb, since he is getting a lot of his weapons back this week and the Falcon pass defense is not all that good).
