Hearing he may not fit at MLB in Lovie Smith's Tampa 2. He would be a nice option as Larry Foote's replacement in the middle of our D. Thinking he could be had for a 5th round pick.

I respect your judgement SKL. So your post means he would fit in well with the steelers. What kind of player is he? I seen his stats which don't tell me much. Is he like a young Foote? Still have to wonder what the Steelers think of the guys they have at ILB. A FA or draft pick/trade may not be on there list of needs.

I vote that we give them the Browns 5th round pick. They would just waste it anyway :D

He is an aggressive run stuffer who plays downhill. Would likely come off the field in obvious passing downs. Very much in the Foote mold. Much younger. Poor man's Brandon Spikes.
Ahh ok. Not what I wanted to hear. LOL :) Don't we already have that type of player in an old Foote and Williams?

I'll take a 24 year old Foster over a 35 year old Foote. Foster was an all Pac-12 player who is only getting better. I would love to have him.

Spikes will be testing free agency this year and the Patriots probably won't match any offers he gets. He too comes off the field on passing downs.

His agent might require that the team who signs him includes a clause saying that the team cannot put him on I.R. just because he showed up late for a team meeting on a snowy day.
