Oh I think it means something. It means if we have a shot at Bridgewater, they might actually draft him.

I haven't watched him play, is he that good?
I would draft McCarron over Bridgewater.... level of competition being a huge factor.

Yes, he is that good.
I don't trust Colbert anymore...he should be the first one to get fired. Horrible drafts..and now it is catching up.

Huge mistake for the Steelers as they are not a read option offense. Never have been, never will. Huge mistake for any team taking him top 10 let alone number 1. He is 196 lbs dripping wet and will have the same issues staying healthy as does RGIII.

Me too!!! Amen to that. Teams that by pass this kid will one day regret it. He's is going to get his 3rd BCS National title this year. And what he did versus Texas A & M this years show that the game can be put in his hands.
4 years as a QB at Alabama and 11 INT's, and this is probably against the greatest level of competition any QB has ever faced.

Oh and he also fits the style of offense the Steelers play.
A lot of Tomlin supporers say that the personnel issues are not his fault because Colberts makes those decisions.
That wasn't a major problem in the Cowher & Colbert era ... why not? Maybe because Cowher had more control in personnel decisions? There is only 1 different variable in that equation and it is Tomlin.
I find that interesting because a lot of the Colbert critics are also Cowher critics. Doesn't make any sense... one of those 2 were responsible for some solid personnel decisions.
