Not sure exactly when this was generated but things could have been worse I suppose:

If this number was ever true...my guess is that it was before we did the obvious cuts that happened pretty early. Don't know how they are calculating draft capital, but that's also improved if this was done pre-Kenny/Fields trades.

So...if this chart was ever useful, i think it's time has passed.

It does correctly (IMO) have ARI with the most draft capital.

I think we're currently something like $12M under. Which translates to something like $6M over after you factor in the costs that haven't hit yet (e.g. draft class).

Lots of things we can do to get the space we need (e.g. no new money extension for Heyward, restructure for Highsmith).

Dave at the Depot says we have enough space right now to trade for Aiyuk if we wanted to (almost exactly the space). He'd then get a new contract that would lower his current cap hit.

And some of the worst teams are in the best quadrant.

But how is KC in the good quadrant for money to spend? With the best QB in the league and having just won the Super Bowl? Ugh!!

KC seems to rebuild their OL every couple of seasons plus young WRs, guys with low price contracts? An elite QB can make up for a lot of weakness on offense. I think KC WRs had the most drops in the league last season.
