We've all had guys that we've seen and would love to be on this team. I thought it might be fun for us to throw out our favorites in a single thread.

What I find interesting is that I look at the team, I look at team needs and best fits and there are a lot of ways this draft could play out. I'm good with any of 3 or 4 guys at multiple positions...

So, I'll go first:

The one guy that I *want* the team to have and no matter how good the rest of the draft is, I might have slight disappointment if not drafted is: Jack Campbell. I know, I know, they went to get 2 veteran run stuffers. And while he's faster than they expected, Jack's not exactly a coverage guy. But, I think he'd cover better than those 2 and when it gets down to it, I'd take him and wouldn't hesitate (at 1.32 if I had to; if he goes before that, it just wasn't meant to be). Meanwhile, my gut says they'll specifically target a specialist in the middle-rounds.

Who do you want on this team over and above any other player and why?

Campbell is a good choice but I would go Sanders cause he can be a Mike who can also rush off the edge.
If I can get a second shot I really like Rush as a cover corner in a draft where we perhaps draft more than 1 db.

Darnell Washington the road-grading TE that would also be huge target for Pickett.

12 personnel would be so unpredictable with Pickens, Washington, Harris, Freirmuth and Johnson.

Paris Johnson

He would be my 1st choice in round one.

Devon Whiterspoon (well its Will Anderson Jr., but this is a utopia). Imagine our defense with the best pass-rush in the league and a secondary with him and Minkah And the new bonebreakers at ILB... Scary

If we trade our #32 & #17 to move up to 6-9 to take Paris Johnson or Broderick Jones who all will be mad we lost a high pick?

to me, losing 32 would sting. It would make the *really good* claypool deal feel a little less good. Whoever they get *must* succeed and *must* sign a second contract to make me feel good about it

I'm going outside the first round with mine. I'd either say John Michael Schmitz (OC - Minnesota) and/or Ricky Stromberg, who played both Center & Guard at Arkansas. Ideal if we get both!

John Michael Schmitz, YASS... I almost forgot this dude. He's #2 on my own list.

I think he'd be the next HOF-level C on this team. The team has been really fortunate over the years going from Webster to Dirt Dawson to Pouncey... (yes, I skipped Hartings who was dang good as well).

I think to get JMS, they'd have to take him at 32. I don't think he'll be around until we pick at 49.

Christian Gonzales, CB. Every Time I see his film I see the next great DB. He looks like he could also play safety. He will be great wherever he goes.

I'll take a 50-75 pick--Sydney Brown-S from Illinois. He is a heat-seeking missile, ball-hawking hyper-aggressive S in the Polamalu mold. Love to see him in B n G.

caught a bit of his story on "hey rookie welcome to the nfl"... he and his brother had a very unique (and rough) upbringing
