Muse was a Safety in college but was converted to LB at the next level. He's a good special teams player. I recall that management liked this young man a lot during the draft process of 2020.

I remember his draft report, he was a hybrid safety-ILB compared to Barron, and was upset the Raiders drafted him.

I guess we ended up getting our man. It is cool seeing some draft connections coming back to the Burg. I think Petterson and Fahoko were also players we had a interest induring their draft process.

I like the move, I think he can play the in box "Edmunds role" better than Neal.

That speed coming out of college (4.42 at combine) was impressive. Only 26 so that's a plus. Special team guy but may be a big nickel guy , box safety n short yardage guy. Worth the look for sure.

The more I think about this signing the more I like it. At least Muse has some upside. According to PFF in his limited time on defense he graded at 69.3. As LPMAN said above he could be the replacement for Marcus Allen. I consider that an improvement for the team.
