Players are going in different spots every day that passes by. Teams seem to be zeroing in on more and more specific needs and different guys are showing up as BPA during our picks.
Here's the latest and I really stuck to BPA with no trades.
Trevor Penning - OT - Northern IA
Travis Jones - DT - CT
Trey McBride - TE - CO State
James Cook - RB - GA
Max Mitchell - OT - LA
Jack Coan - QB - ND
Bo Melton - WR - Rutgers
Again, I don't like not getting a CB, Edge, or S, but all of these guys were projected to go higher until I got to round 7 and Coan and Melton were rated to go at about the spot I selected them.
I guess we need to look at this as a long term rebuild and just have to get the best guys we can and if we don't reach, we'll collectively get better despite any gaps.
I like getting Dalvin's brother at RB in the 4th and think he could be a pretty good receiving option in our O. I also like Mitchell in the 6th.
I also think the 1st 3 can become starters/contributors quickly and while I'm not 100% of this draft as it was playing out, I don't mind it after it was done.
