I think Z Johnson made some more fans during the Combine, and will probably be a guy that goes 20-30 now. If we slid back to 26-28 and picked up another good (top 75) pick I'd do that and still (hopefully) get Johnson.

I'm not convinced he lasts much in to the 2nd round at all. I'd be salivating if he made it down there.

McCreary - I had him mocked in the 1st at one point.. Of the two, he did the better job against pretty much the same SEC talent - and iirc, was less penalized (i.e., he did it on skill)

elam does seem like a penalty waiting to happen
mc has short arms though which could cause him trouble in the pro's......

Eh - i think we make too much of some of those measurements.
If the guy is in position AND he has decent jumping ability, we're not talking about many balls - maybe half a percent of passes, if that - that are so perfect that the get beyond his outstretched arms while jumping and into a WR's hands. The other 99.5% that arm length is irrelevant.
And for the record, if we came away with an OG and OT (especially THOSE guys you mocked) and throw in McCreary, this draft would be a slam dunk.
