If you cant pick up 1 yard on 2 tries with the game on the line you don’t deserve to win.

This offense sucks.

Or first and goal at the 1

These past two weeks, the offense is just as bad as last year.

I just watched Josh Allen easily convert a 3rd and 1 with a QB sneak.

Ben is a big dude, how come we never QB sneak it?

3rd and 1 feels like 3rd and the moon. The run blocking is awful.

What about 4th and 1 and the absurd hook and go to your 3rd string rb?

I hate 3rd and 1 and you’re in shotgun 7 yards behind the LOS. Impose your will.

Or the nearly as bad toss to your unathletic tackle on 3rd down at the goal line

Tomlin doesn't like to live in his fears:

but tonight it sure looked like he was afraid to run and afraid to kick a FG's.

Who was just brought back from covid list today, came in with no practice. Pure genius I tell ya.

what pissed me of the most, is that they gave up on it.

Call me stubburn, but I would of pounded Snell behind Watt over and over and over again.

Did you guys see Ebron whiff on that block on the goal line , were the defender beat ( I am not even sure there was any resistance from Ebron) and grabbed the RB feet when he dove in the air?

Isn’t that the definition of insanity? Doing something over and over again and expecting a different result?

They we’re not getting that yard no matter how many downs they had. We’ve seen this throughout the season. They have to start winning in the trenches to have any hope of success.

I think it depends on what it "afraid" means here.

I do think we're "afraid" to run it on ___ and short.

But, I also think we might know what the kicker's effective range is. The decision not to kick could have been based on fear, but it could also have been based on data and a plan. Presumably we see this guy kick in practice. Maybe we know that his success rate drops dramatically after ~ 40 yards or something (scouting report was accurate, but not powerful).

And honestly, that might be the truth about running in short yardage situations. If the data tell us that our success rates are significantly higher when throwing in short yardage maybe we should be passing?

And I tend to think that our short yardage running success rates are bad...but maybe that's just how it "feels". Because it feels like we couldn't run for 1 yard in a critical situation if the season depended on it.
