Only caught the last 2 minutes of the thriller  last night but did anyone else see the celebration by NE after beating a winless team?!? You would have thought they just won the SB! My how times have changed in Patriots land.

The times have certainly changed but it was a nice comeback. The Jets were up 10 and looking good. They were up 7 w/ 6 minutes to go and the ball. Then Flacco struck. He had a TE wide open a good 10-15 yards down field by the sidelines and instead decided to go deep middle to a guy double covered. INT. Jets should have won.

That was the first offensive play after the D was just on the field for a long, long drive. The QB should be looking to give his guys a breather at that point. As good as Flacco looked early, he looked like a complete rook a couple of times. One was that pass into double coverage and almost no chance of success, the other was taking a sack on their last drive on something like 2nd and 2, then stopping the clock with an incompletion on 3rd and long.

Cam made a hell of a play to keep the final drive alive, miraculously got out of two tackles to avoid a sack and throw for a 1st down.

and people often talk about Tomlin without Ben..

We were in the playoff hunt last year and this Pats team is happy to beat an undefeated team.

Shouldn't a team be happy to beat an undefeated team? ;)

Hey man, winning a game is tough, especially for a team as depleted as the Pats. We were made fun of for barely beating the Cowboys.

true, this is the first time in a long while I can ever remember us outscoring our weaker opponent 15-0 in the 4th quarter to come back and win.

FWIW he was replying to the quoted comment that the Pats beat an undefeated team. Of course he knows they are a winless team, but he quoted the original post and joked that they should be happy about beating an undefeated team.
