He's a headcase.

he wants to get paid top CB money, we can't afford him.

plus we don't need another malcontent on the team...

Aside from whether or not he is a headcase. After this year you have to start paying him close to market.

In 2019 the acquiring team pays him the remaining value of his $3.6M salary - huge bargain
In 2020 he is on his fifth year option of $13.7M - below market but still a chunk of dough
In 2021 he is a FA and will cost full market value to either this team or his next.

As opposed to Fitzpatrick
This year Steelers pay out $1.2M - huge bargain
2020 pay out $1.975M - huge bargain
2021 pay out $2.7M - huge bargain
2022 eligible for fifth year option - bargain but getting closer to big money
2023 now he will cost full market value

I guarantee Ramsey is going to want a new contract from any team acquiring him.

i'm sure he will, but will it be in the form of an extension, which keeps his current cap hits the same for this year and next?

If he goes to NE, they become unbeatable.

I have to think a team like KC needs to pull the trigger or some team in the NFC that thinks it's going to the SuperBowl.

If you have SuperBowl aspirations, he's worth the gamble even if you can only have him for the season.

No interest... lengthy radio discussion today on Ramsey. Great guy when the team is winning, but quits when the losses stack up. Locker room cancer. KC is not interested as they feel he could quickly destroy a locker room.

Winning cures alot of that noise....watch ab settle down and ball out...damn Shame you can act like an ass in the public eye and still make it out golden

I mean, Ramsey showed up to training camp in a Brinks truck...

KC passing on him pretty much tells me a lot

KC passing on him doesn't really say much, he is just going to be too expensive for them with all the offensive guys they are going to have to pay. KC defense is really bad and adding Ramsey only makes them a little better at one position so while he is a good player I dont think he would have much impact on that already bad KC defense. Ravens, Browns, and Eagles make a ton of sense because Ramsey will impact those defenses a lot, it's worth it for them to add Ramsey.
