I have no idea who this guy is, but I am glad we are being active covering all holes.

Yeah, just a warm body. We will draft a TE in this draft.

I agree, I just don't think we'll do it early as we have so many other needs.

That's almost as Irish as former Steeler great Frank O'Harris. ;)

I think TE is a big need with James gone, and McDonald injury woes. and Grimble isn't so durable himself. Who is going to replace 50% of snaps played by James.

Don't know why we'd bother to bring James O'Shaughnessy in, other than it's St. Patrick's Day Monday.

Will Juju be sainted for driving the snake out of Cincinnati?

O'Shaughnessy, I learned, grades out as a very good blocker. Doubt if he's much of a receiving threat. I'm sure he could step in as a 3rd TE, but can't we find that guy on day 2 or 3 of the draft?

Well. Honestly I liked James. He was s solid contributor. But running more Fullback formations is ok with me. We do have an all pro there who doesn’t see enough snaps already. And frankly, he could beast when lined up at TẾ. I’m just not worried.

Hennessy left town without a deal, I think we'll draft a TE.

He came in hungover, they let him sleep it off in the equipment room then sent him home. Only brought in as a favor to former Ireland ambassador Dan Something.

James O’Shaughnessy re-signs with Jaguars

Posted by Josh Alper on March 21, 2019, 2:23 PM EDT

Tight end James O'Shaughnessy will be staying put.

O’Shaughnessy became an unrestricted free agent last week and took a visit with the Steelers this week, but the Jaguars announced on Thursday that he has re-signed with the team. There are no words on the terms of the deal.

O’Shaughnessy joined the Jaguars in 2017 and caught 38 passes for 363 yards and a touchdown over 30 regular season games for the team. He spent the first two seasons of his NFL career with the Chiefs.

With O’Shaughnessy back in the fold, the Jaguars now have four tight ends on the roster. Geoff Swaim, Ben Koyack and Pharoah McKever join O’Shaughnessy on the roster.
