Just got an ESPN/Adam Schefter thingy - they are shopping him for a potential trade.

Interesting...meaning at some point we are going to take an O-linemen in this draft. For grooming purposes if nothing else.

How many picks do the Broncos have?

How many picks do the Broncos have?

8 picks. 1 in each round and an extra 5th rounder.

Interestingly, the only round where we don't have pick is round 5.

I was thinking that we could package Gilbert and AB together, to a team who needs help at T and WR. I will take a 2nd and a 4th and 5th. Would be great if there was a 1st involved.

Broncos
Seattle
Raiders
AZ
CAR

Wonder if we can get a better trade for Gilbert than AB?

"Next chapter".

Maybe he was just reading a good book. I've heard some NFL players can read.

Traded to the Cardinals for a 6th round comp pick. Would have liked a better return, but given his health issues, I get it. Also nice to gain the cap space.

That's it? a 6th round pick? I thought he'd fetch atleast a 4th round pick.

6th? Wasn't Brown a 6th rounder? Maybe get another "Brown" but without the BS. LOL

In fact, it was a pick we got from -- the Cardinals.

when you make it known that you will cut a player it doesnt exactly give you much bargaining power...

Schefter: Steelers Trade Marcus Gilbert To Cardinals For 6th Round Pick

Another smart move by the front office. Got something for a player who wasn't in the future plans plus opened up almost b$5M in cap space.

and a smart move by Arizona because they got a quality RT for a 6th round draft choice. they need all the help they can get, the Cardinals have arguably the worst OL in the NFL.
