Fascinating game of adjustments by the coaches. I’m really enjoying the chess match being played. The Ravens DC ( Martindale) is really making a name for himself. Chargers OC has countered with a lot of motion trying to hold from just teeing off. Also , chargers being content to take what the defense is giving them.

Lamar Jackson is a terrible passing qb too. So happy he’s a Raven.

Going into the 4th qtr, Lamar jackson has 3 first downs the entire game. 25 yards passing going into the 4th qtr.

Lamar Jackson being totally exposed ; this guy can’t read defenses to pass the ball.

Got to put in Flacco at this point right if you’re Baltimore?

They must really hate Flacco. Because at 12-0, and your suppose to be trying to win the game, I’m Bringing in Flacco to get that offense going.

Lamar Jackson is a bust as far as being a passing qb. Anthony Lynn is a pretty good coach. Showed a lot of patience over a year and a half in pulling his team together.

Well, at least we won’t see the Ravens anymore. With their fraud offense and qb.

Jackson still isn’t a good qb.

I mentioned on FB that the Chargers blew too many opportunities in the first half getting FG's instead of TD's. Now the Ravens have a chance that they should never have had.

Well, the crappiness of Jackson did the Ravens in at the end. How fitting.

This makes me happy in a twisted sort of way. While I'd like to see something good happen for Rivers, there's no team I hate more than Baltimore.

Steel Maniac

Yeah, I’m happy the Ravens got smacked down too. I like rivers chances next week against the Patriots. And I like the Colts chances to beat the chiefs. Yep... I said it. I think the Colts beat the Chiefs.

Trade Antonio Brown to the Ravens, so how he likes playing for a QB like Jackson. I hope the Ravens keep Jackson around for a decade.

The Ravens looked unprepared, sloppy and unable to adjust to what the Chargers were doing.

The Ravens defense bottled up the Chargers for a while. But your defense gets worn down from your offense going 3 & out constantly.

Can anyone imagine the Steelers sitting their LB’s and using 7 DB’s?????

Wow. I wonder it butler even knows that is possible? But a terrific game plan by the chargers.

Hahahahaha .. we don’t have 7 db’s good enough to be on the field. Lol

the chargers knew what they were doing.

If they beat them 3 weeks ago then they're traveling to pittsburgh this weekend where they were down 16 points at halftime last game. and thats with a blown false start call for their only score in the 1st half

so go face a QB who can barely compete 12 passes a game or go to Pittsburgh where they could be down by 3 touchdowns in a blink of an eye. easy choice

I always say that you can't count on another team to help you out and then be upset when they don't. Similarly, when betting on football games, I also say that when you bet on a bad team you can be upset when they play like a bad team.

Who's begging? I was commenting. How can you beg for something in the past? Man, this is a fired up message board.

I'll disagree with the sentiment that Jackson will be a poor NFL QB. Jackson looked just as I thought he would look as a rookie. He showed us exactly what we knew he would, dynamic play maker with his legs, and deer in headlights at times with his passing. I don't think anyone would mistake Jackson for a rocket scientist aka Dobbs. He will take time to adjust mentally to the pro game. Harrison was the same way. Tons of raw talent but couldn't learn. But, let me say this...Jackson has natural raw arm talent in a way that is very comparable to Mahomes. It can be developed. It will take time. IMO, his floor is Kordell Stewart. His ceiling is what he decides to make it.

The NFL is a strange world. And the NFL QB is an enigma.

Riddle me this; how is it that John Elway, a HOF QB, running the Denver Broncos the last 10 yrs, has been unable to draft or find a top tier quarterback??

Hands down QB is the toughest position to scout by a mile. You look for arm, accuracy, poise, leadership, etc and so on. Then you roll the dice with your scouting report. I’ve been more wrong than right when it comes to QBs. But I think that goes for nearly every scouting department in the NFL.

This. QB seems to be the hardest position in sports to project (except maybe goalie in hockey).
