I mean really, is there no attempt by the NFL to even hide it any more?

There really isn’t much guess work putting together a schedule anymore. That’s why everyone knows their opponents at the end of the previous season. Play your division twice, rotate with an NFC division and play your conference equals once.

The Pats continually have an “easy” schedule because their division is awful. Bills, Jets, Miami. Normally that’s six wins right there.

Oh yeah, you are 100% right Bucks.

Why does the rest of the AFC East have to be so reliably bad, year after year?

Even when they aren’t, Al Riveron gives the Pats** the win...

I knew before the schedules were released that they’d have an easy schedule; but so is ours. So let’s not complain. We play 5 of our first 6 divisional games in the first few weeks so we can put a headlock on our division early. Let’s not pretend that we don’t have 3 terrible teams in our division too. Lol

Our schedule is top 3 easiest in the NFL. No reason why we don’t win 11+ games this year.

No excuses Tomlin; no excuses. Get it done in the playoffs.

No conspiracy needed for perpetually easy schedules ... just three other teams in the division that perpetually suck.

Exactly. 6 wins right off the top.

For the record, the only team to go undefeated within their own division last year? The Pittsburgh Steelers.

In spite of the perpetually sucky AFC East opponents, New England has not gone 6-0 in their division since 2012.

Okay..5-1. Big difference.

Bottom line the AFC east has been top 2 worse division in football for over 20 years. Why? Because what legit QB has come into that division (other then Brady) in the last 20 plus years? Exactly.

Nope. That’s why I’m asking, silly.

Who cares what fans say? Whether they are making excuses for anything or not, it doesn’t affect anything about Tomlin...who doesn’t make excuses...

We’re on a public forum, specifically created for discussion...

It’s all fan stuff that has no bearing on the actual team or coaching staff...

I apologize. I should have said, “Outside of message boards, who cares?”

Does anything posted here carry any weight in the real world? Of course not...stop being silly...

Report: Julian Edelman facing four-game PED suspension

Posted by Darin Gantt on June 7, 2018, 1:53 PM EDT

The Patriots had Tom Brady back on the field today, but they could be without one of his favorite targets for the first month of the season.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Patriots wide receiver is facing a four-game suspension, for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Edelman is appealing the suspension, so there’s no official comment from the league yet.

He missed all of last season with a torn ACL, and now the Patriots will have to rely on a new crop of targets if the suspension stands. They also let Danny Amendola leave in free agency, though they have brought in Jordan Mathews and Cordarrelle Patterson this offseason.

They will still beat the Steelers. It's called coaching. He can lose someone to injury, FA or suspension and still outcoach the overpaid janitor with his eyes closed.

Maybe Reggie Bush can be our new coach :)

Yeah, that too.

But normally, they don't need the refs help because the score isn't close enough to make a difference.

We all certainly can beeotchevous that Tomlin isn't a better coach. Why not, it's a message board, he's not perfect, and it's June!

But who in the NFL would be a slam dunk better Steeler coach than he is?

I don't know that Cowher is any better than Tomlin. Their careers and Win-Loss records are very similar. Both are emotional cheerleader-types.

But one coach didn't have a franchise QB till his last 3 years. The other coach has had a franchise QB his entire career.

Which is another reason why Mike McCarthy of the Packers is one of the most over rated coaches in NFL history.

Both coaches also have been beaten by the Pats** on a fairly regular basis...

But, one coach only had to deal with them in the last third of his career while the other has had to deal with them his entire career...

the funny thing is that first coach didn't even want the franchise QB.

And it's not the 2nd coaches fault that he has a franchise QB.

We'll never know how many rings Cowher would have had with a franchise QB from the beginning. But as you said, we know he had to be convinced to go get one.

The only thing we can really go on is the win-loss record and number of rings. And for both coach 1 and coach 2, most teams in the league are envious.

Julius Edleman just got knocked for using PED's. 4 games.

He is appealing.

Must have skipped the masking agent step in the TB12 method.
