Sounds like Gilbert, Hayward, Hargrave, and McCullers should all be good to go. Great news.

Golson won't play, obviously. If Nix can't go, then David Johnson can function as a FB/H-back type in addition to being TE depth. If Wallace can't go, then we still have Hubbard and Finney would can backup the interior o-line.

If Wheaton can't go, Heyward-Bey is listed as his direct backup (Coates is listed behind Brown on the team's official depth chart), but I would start Brown and Coates outside with Rogers in the slot, and then bring in DHB for some experienced depth as needed. They may prefer to start DHB in Wheaton's space instead, though, just because they may not want 3 inexperienced targets on the field at the same time (Coates, Rogers, and James).

Steelers rule Markus Wheaton out for Monday

Steelers wide receiver Markus Wheaton did not practice Saturday and has been ruled out of Monday night’s game vs. the Redskins.

Wheaton has been battling a shoulder injury. He caught 44 passes last season, a career-best five for touchdowns.

Wheaton is the starter opposite All-World wide receiver Antonio Brown. Either second-year man Sammie Coates or veteran Darrius Heyward-Bey will replace him in the starting lineup.

Also ruled out for the Steelers are fullback Roosevelt Nix, backup offensive lineman Cody Wallace and defensive back Senquez Golson, who’s expected to miss significant time due to a training camp foot injury.

I'm confident that some of the new faces James ,Rogers and Coates will all contribute. Now if I could just be as confident about our D.
