Steelers-Ravens kickoff time could change

Kickoff for the Steelers-Ravens game on Sunday, Dec. 27, could change depending on the outcome of tonight's New York Giants-Miami Dolphins Monday Night Football game.

If the Giants win, the Steelers-Ravens game will be moved from an 8:30 p.m. kickoff on Dec. 27 at M&T Bank Stadium, to a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS.

The New York Giants-Minnesota Vikings game would then be moved to the 8:30 p.m. slot on NBC.

If the Dolphins beat the Giants tonight, or the two teams tie, the Steelers-Ravens game will remain at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 27.

The NFL can make the change as part of the league's flex scheduling policy.

In a related note, the Steelers-Broncos kickoff time for this Sunday, Dec. 20, will remain at 4:25 p.m. and will be on CBS, as the network protected the game.

There is still a chance that the Steelers-Browns game on Sunday, January 3, at 1 p.m. could be flexed.

I remember my first beer :p

Between the beer and my phone it was a losing proposition. I even tried editing the post but gave up when the phone wouldn't cooperate.:Beer

So we play at 1:00. I like it.

I was actually hoping it would stay in primetime. I hate primetime home games but like primetime away games. I was considering getting tickets for a 4:05 Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins game that day, because I would be home in plenty of time for the 8:30 kickoff, but now if the Steelers are playing at 1:00 instead, that goes out the window.
