So it looks like the Steelers could be playing Denver, Seattle, New England, San Fran, Arizona, and the Colts all in the same year next season. Thoughts?

Hopefully, the Steelers will finish this season in such a way as to cause all those teams to dread having to play them next year. :tt1:tt1:tt1:tt1:tt1:tt1:tt1:tt1

Those teams are probably looking to face the Steelers defense with glee. A miracle isn't going to happen in the off season

No miracle necessary. Just be healthier and play better...

play better...
Hence the miracle comment. How exactly do you think they "just play better" when they have to replace 3 off the 4 defensive backs; find two pass rushing OLBs if Worilds leaves, etc. That is more than playing better, that is a miraculous one off season change. Especially if the current defensive coaches are allowed to stay and do things their way which hasn't been working for 4 straight seasons now.

No, it isn't. There are a lot of young players gaining experience during this run toward the playoffs. It's nothing miraculous. Teams do it all the time. But, isn't a little early for talking about next season? There has been a lot
more to enjoy this season compared to the last two.

Also, while this does look like a tough schedule, keep in mind that the rest of the division has to play this same schedule (with the exception of two games)...

Also, four seasons now? I swear, the interval of time somehow gets longer with every mention of LeBeau's tenure with the Steelers...

It's been four years and I have consistently talked about the problems and the approaching problems for that long. Anyone who has been on the board that long can verify. Let's not pretend like the defenses declining performance started this year. It may have exploded in their faces this year but the signs were obvious to anyone who would objectively look at what was happening and quick licking LeBeau's feet in faint praise he hasn't deserved for a while. He got his lifetime achievement award when he got put into the Hall of Fame but his annual performance of what his unit did on the field the last four years were not of that caliber.

Continue to be a spin doctor for LeBeau as long as you want but he doesn't have answers except keep spending draft picks on defense until the right players show up. A good coordinator succeeds with what he has and finds ways to make them better. Anyone can be successful with stars.

So now lebeau only got into the HOF as a lifetime achievement award?

Nah, its not personal

No touchdowns against the old man today, but I guess he still needs to go.... according to some.
