game 1) mediocre
game 2) bottom feeder
game 3) super bowl contender

it appears that the season is going to be a roller coaster.
save your money boys, dont bet on or against the steelers this year

The Steelers are a team still in transition from replacing some very good veteran players that played and won Super Bowls. The arrow is pointing up, but there will be inconsistencies and more growing pains. The Steelers are not a bottom feeder and don't appear to be a Super Bowl contender either, so, I'll go with average, but trending to above average and playoff caliber. I still think 9-7 or 10-6 is where they end up.

They are 2-1...at this point, it is light years better than last season...

I'll take improvement....

Yup...only the Eagles, Cardinals, and Bengals have a better record in the entire NFL right now...can't complain.

We are a young inconsistent team capable of beating anyone when playing well.

We're a group of men capable of playing winning football in a stadium environment on blades of grass, if you will.

we are young with potential and a very soft schedule for the next two weeks.

we do have some depth/quality issues at CB.

We are 2-1 with a dominant running game!

If we can just keep running the damn ball for 150-200yds a game while at the same time control the clock to keep our substandard defense off the field then I think we are a contender.

I agree, and on the flipside because of our inconsistency we are also capable of losing to anyone when we're not playing well...

This would be true, plus we have a duel threat, stop the run, try and stop the pass as well. When clicking they are both very dangerous, unlike Carolina last night, we could get one dimensional and still do some serious damage.

I'd like to believe the O-line is really starting to gel and become a formidable unit. With Ben, Antonio, Le'Veon, Heath, Marcus and even Legarrette, this offense has the talent to be exceptional. No excuse to lose to Tampa or Jacksonville and then Cleveland and Houston are certainly beatable as well. 6-1 would sure feel great.

Saw a tweet from Dave Dameshek yesterday that said the Steelers have 3 offensive players in the top 6 at their positions in the NFL. Ben, AB, and LeVeon. When's the last time that was even a possibility for the Steelers offense???

You could potentially add 2 more to that list in Pouncey and Decastro.
