Dolphins coach fined $10,000.00 for colliding with official during Troy's run back at the end of the half. If a flag was thrown it would have given the Steelers an untamed down from the Dolphins 26-yard line.

So why doesnt that compare to Tomlins fiasco that resulted in a $100k fine and supposed draft pick BS? Dude actually collided with someone.

During last week’s game against the (ironically enough) Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins special teams coach Darren Rizzi managed to find himself on the field during a missed field goal return at the end of the first half.

Rizzi was not even on the white line, like Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was when he was fined $100,000, because he was a full step on to the field.

Rizzi eventually made contact with an official, but there was no flag thrown on the play. However, the NFL has reportedly fined Rizzi for being on the field, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.

There is one thing that will make Steelers fans upset, though.

While Tomlin was fined $100,000, Rizzi was slapped with a mere $10,000 fine.

Before you complain about the difference in the fine, it is important to remember that Tomlin is the head coach and his position comes with more responsibility. On top of that, Tomlin directly interfered with the ball carrier, while Rizzi simply collided with a ref away from the play.

One thing is for certain, however, and that is if you are an NFL coach you better stay off the field or else your wallet will be taking a hit.

A bad choice for the articles headline, but I thought it worth posting because it was against us and of course Tomlin's blunder a few weeks ago.
