I predict we obtain Ahmad Bradshaw RB and one other low end FA.

Your turn...

I predict we sign some low end safety and a low end OG/OC.

I agree. I think Bradshaw will be a Steeler if he works out well after he gets out of his boot. AB already endorsed him. I think he would be the only FA signing before the draft. They will keep their cards close to their chest until after the draft and possibly sift through the rubble after teams release players because of draft signings. IF a hole still exists...Which I predict won't.

I see us getting some bottom of the barrel low key free agents after the draft, a la Mewelde Moore.

But would be sweet if Ahmad Bradshaw signed with us and did well.

I was thinking safety or corner as well. Maybe Jacob Lacey since we always seem to get an ex-Lion lol! Madieu Williams from the skins?? They definitely won't be anything more than depth. I'm not an advocate of either just throwin' out names

I predict Matt Spaeth will be the highlight of this year's FA class.

Am I wrong, or do we currently not have a backup center?

John Malecki is currently listed as our backup center on the depth chart.

Talk about timing! It is smart to bring him in. I think it will be a good signing if we do it. He is only 27 and has something to prove and our RB'S suck a little.

I would love to have him. I also read somewhere that they may fly him in tomorrow and visit with him on Thursday.

When healthy he is a good back, he has his age going for him and a productive player. If the Steelers can get past his recent injury and he works out well the possibility exists he could be a Steeler soon.

My question would be, if we do sign him would RB still be in their draft plans in the first four rounds?

a guy like Marcus Lattimore who may miss part or all of next season would still make a lot of sense.

I would still take Lattimore in the fifth.

The Steelers, who have hosted free-agent running back Beanie Wells already but are unlikely to sign him, expect to have Ahmad Bradhsaw visit this week, though the meeting would be largely to get a handle on his medical situation.

The former Giants standout, with a lingering foot injury, may not be ready to play until deep into the offseason, and the Steelers have some interest, sources said, though there is no rush to sign him right now. Pittsburgh lost former starting back Rashard Mendenhall to Arizona in free agency and is looking for reinforcements to complement Jonathan Dwyer, who re-signed there.

The Steelers will host free-agent defensive back James Sanders, a former Cardinal, this week as well.

NOW...If the sign Bradshaw I would be ok with the Latimore pick in the 5th back. I would be a no to Latimore as the "Rookie" answer with Dwyer, Redman, & Batch.

You still draft one but it may be in the 4th back now.
