Talking out his arse. Why don't you tell us other crap you've been hearing instead of pretending it was just fans saying he should be playing when he was hurt. That wasn't the case. I am sure other fans were saying things like, "You aren't doing anything out there when you aren't hurt either. You are out of shape and not working very hard." That is what he should have been addressing.

By "statements" you mean telling the truth about Woodley don't you? LeBeau or Butler? Should they be made an example of like so many want the "anonymous player" to be made an example of?

I don't see any purpose in calling out teammates, it won't help the team and could divide a locker room.
At this point in time the Steeler players should be more concerned about getting ready for the new season, and the coaches, FO have more immediate issues to solve than what said by an anonomous player or person.

Butler was already on record as saying Woodley came in out of shape. But Cook's article quoted a "teammate." I'm thinking that wasn't a coach. Maybe it was Foote, and now he's trying to cover his fanny.

I appreciate foote's view of the 'code' regarding players speaking out about other players. unfortunately, it goes against my code to drop several thousand dollars a year in ticket prices and watching fat LB's make no impact upon the game.

Looks like a player borrowed my tin foil hat :) I still think it was Tomlin or Rooney. More likely Tomlin cause it's his style - aka One Trick Pony. Tomlin's a little passive aggressive.
