That includes chunks of yards both gained and lost.

He's right.... look, I may not like some of the sacks Ben would take in Arians offense and the run game wasnt the best but the results were much better in the win loss column. I love the no bullets left in the gun analogy. Sure felt like we had plenty of bullets left in most games.

Just so you know, the owner of Steelers Depot has made it clear that he does not want us posting his articles, even when we give proper credit and provide a link to his site, as you have done. I have no idea why (it's not like we are trying to "steal" his articles or "take credit" for their content), so now we just basically don't acknowledge the existence of that particular site any more (too bad, but that was his choice, not ours). Just thought you should know.

I wasn't aware of that, I'll just ignore that site altogether since they made a big deal out if it.

No problem, man. I realize that you couldn't have known since you just joined last month.

While we're at it, let's ignore Pro Football Talk as well, since it's a breeding ground for anti-Steeler bigotry.

BA and Ben lack maturity in my opinion and their lack of professionalism shows time and time again. Just something I felt I needed to throw out there :D

One thing I've learned is that those who are among the best at their professions tend to be the most secure in their jobs regardless of whether their attitudes are "professional" or not.

I wonder if the Depot dude thinking has changed? It is linked from bleacher report emails all the time. The only reason I read it anymore.

You have to be kidding me. That statement is ignoring the obvious...the MVP season Ben was having...and the horrific amount of injuries. Arians O is whack...always has been...always will be.

Not sure Arinas was taking a shot at the Steelers, or maybe putting it out there as a "Hey Ben, c'mon west" kind of suggestion of possibility.
Steelers did Arians a favor when they hired him, after his Cleveland days. I imagine he could feel grateful for that.

Did Arians even reference Haley's offense? That part seems made up by the story.
Haley seemed to be trying to do what Ben and Arians didn't want to do and that was dink and dunk to keep Ben healthy. It was working until Ben got hurt.
There's a bigger problem at play here. Ben hasn't had a WR that could get separation since Plax left the first time. Since then he's been working with a mediocre bunch of WR. And even his TE takes time to get open. Ben's flat out told everyone he needs a big WR like Plax since he left.
Could you imagine what Ben could do with White/Jones in Atlanta, let alone one of those guys. Great QBs typically have great WRs. Ben never really has. We've had a lot of underwhelming talent at WR and a lot of turnover at the position.

Like to see the Cards QB survie but not sure any of his Qb can go downfield. But i would like to see haley take more shots downfield.

I'm so tired of hearing these digs coming from Ben. Also, I don't understand why Arians felt the need to take a jab at Haley.

Yeah, but Arians didn't actually take any shots at Haley. It seems more like a Steeler fan wanting there to be something in the comments that wasn't actually there.
Chadman quite likes Haley. Quite likes Arians too. Both have various levels of success, but have differing gameplans.
It's all about using the players on hand to the best of their ability. Chadman will leave that up to yourselves to work out which guy does that best.

posting a link isn't the same as posting an article... url takes you to his site, which he should be good with (increased traffic). if he doesn't like it, he can bite us... :-)

While its impossible to fully know the intent of someone's words...using near word for word phrasing with Bens statements leaves room for significant interpretation.
And if Ben wants to play for Arians, I say figure out a way to get him there. The way he plays he has 2-3 healthy seasons left in him.

i'm not seeing any kind of shot he's taking at haley, there
he's talking about his offense. the term dink and dunk has been around for years. is he taking a shot at the pats??

If you're posting his content, that's one thing - i get it. It's sort of letting him do the work and making your site interesting.
To be clear, posting a link is fine... If he didn't want people reading information ON HIS SITE, he wouldn't post it there.

I am sure Arians offense will do well in AZ., How many QBs did they use through out last season. Sounds like he likes that idea of multiple Qbs calling the shots.

I understand that a QB like Ben doesn't come around too often and we've all been blessed with legendary performances. The issue is he continually waters down his achievements with petty stuff. Sometimes it feels like it will be a relief when he's done playing.

I am greatly humored by the various board owners getting in pee matches with each other. "My insignificant message board is better than yours!" NO, my insignificant site is better than yours!" "You must never show a link to our site!" "You must never mention our site in any way!" :)

As the saying goes: "Be careful what you wish for. You just may get it".
Then all the real whining will begin.

First of all... they don't have a message board. It's a blog.
Second of all... I don't get into pee matches with other steelers sites. I really could care less about what other sites do or their opinion of Planet Steelers. I'm to busy working on this site to care about their opinions. He made a bit deal about posting his articles even when a link was included so it's not allowed. I don't know what his reasoning was... I do know that he probably hurt his google ranking because of it. Obviously, he doesn't fully understand SEO.
