1. Timmons is playing hell of a game.

2.Love the evolution of the Offense.... quick passes, decisions by Ben. I barely see the open receiver till the catch is made.

3. Mendy looks soo much quicker, was dearly missed!

4. OL still work in progress.

5. Are we going to ever have a healthy D?

Our offense is going to be good come December. Hopefully DeCastro is able to return, and add some level of stability (funny to say for a rookie) to our O-line.

you say stability, I say ability. Pretty much the same word, so I'll take both.

Mendenhall has always been the best back we've had AND with a line that is going to block he has the ability to be elite. I know I'm not the only one on that wagon. Timmons was also very much like the Timmon's we expect to see. I just hope Woodley comes back from that Hammy as it's hindered him for a extended period of time in the past. I have no idea what to expect with Troy. The poor guy can't stay healthy.

So much for J Dwyer in the Pro Bowl LOL

My thought: Mendy is our only top-line RB but many of us knew that already.

-Mendy had a good game and added a much needed spark to our running game
(the way he holds that ball out like a loaf of bread is a cause for concern and scares the hell out of me)
-This team is still undisciplined and is taking way too many penalties
-The hit on Celek for defenseless receiver was the biggest crock of sh-t and is pussifying the NFL
-Troy can no longer be counted on any longer due to injuries
-Mundy is still looking for McCoy
-Mr Kiesel played like a captain today
-Hamptons tank is almost empty
-FGs instead of TD's is something we need to remedy

Let me add:

-if McLendon is not on the field twice as much as Hampton then LeBeau is even more clueless than even I think at times
-any doubt attacking defense works?
-Colon had better get his head out of his third point of contact or when DeCastro can play Willie will be on the bench. He is just lucky that Beachum is so raw and Legursky is no good at Guard

I was very pleased with Mendy today. A real sparkplug for the team. Hope he continues to play this way--it would really improve our offense.

Timmons, impressive. Hope DL will continue to use him this way...

And I agree with Oviedo. Get Fat Casey off the field, and get McLendon in there more. Maybe Casey and Colon can both be demoted, and have an eating contest on the sideline.

although I respect how much food Willie Colon can probably consume, there is absolutely no way he can compete with Big Snack in an eating contest...

I was surprised not to see any Dwyer yesterday. I think he and Mendy would be the best combination.

Especially since Dwyer is by far the best running back on this team. ;):)

Dwyer isn't a good complementary RB...

Redman, Batch and Rainey are...

Redman looked comfortable in his role yesterday. That's the REDMAN we're use to seeing.

Yes, in a limited role as a back-up. He can be successful doing that.

Or, as a starter in a pinch, like vs. Cleveland and Denver last year...

Mendy got a bad rap in Steeler Nation due to his comments. Mendenhall was always a quality back. The cries for Redman used to make me laugh. Redman can only run North/South. He eliminates most of the playbook. You cant run sweeps, counters, stretch plays with him. Most have forgotten that we would not have made it to our last Super Bowl without Mendenhall (Jets AFCCG). He also was huge when Ben was suspended. In the SB he was great until the fumble.

Dwyer runs just as hard but has more speed. Dwyer can get to the edge and Redman cant. Redman needs to be limited to short down back. Heath Miller is slow but I bet he can beat Redman in the 40. Redman is tooooo slow

Sure. He just doesn't run like it...
