I think this is how things are going down as they stand. I could be wrong. I am having a hard time getting a bead on this first round pick. I could honestly see them trying to trade down and take Zeitler or Silatolu. Neither will be available at our pick in the 2nd.

Round 1: Donta Hightower, ILB Alabama

A beast of a 265lb inside linebacker. Knows the 3-4 very well. Can pressure up the middle or on the edge on passing downs. Coverage ability could be a liability, but the stars seem to be lining up with him. He has all of the attributes of a Colbert/Tomlin first round pick.

Round 2: Brandon Brooks, OG Miami of Ohio

The big offensive lineman measured 6-foot-5 and weighed 346 pounds. He completed 36 reps on the bench press, a number exceeded by just one offensive lineman at the combine. The same can be said for Brooks' 4.98 40 time, which included a 10-yard split of 1.71 seconds. Only Donald Stephenson ran faster at the combine. His vertical jump of 32 inches and broad jump of 8-feet, 9-inches were also superb. The 4.52 short shuttle time beat all marks from the offensive linemen who ran in Indianapolis.

Round 3:Hebron Fangupo NT BYU

A riser after the combine and as teams dig in to his tape. He can contribute year one at NT with Mclendon.

A man in the middle. He was a USC trojan recruit, but left when it became apparent that he was not able to keep his family safe in L.A.

Round 4: Robert Turbin RB Utah State

A 5'9" 220lb running back that can power run with the best of them. He is better than Clay and the out of shape Georgia Tech running back. Plus he's green.

Round 5: James Brown, OT Troy

https://encrypted-tbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQZaj79PgeUM5Ym9qH5blvc65BXGxX3o HJI5XKO_WzhtXnoYntk_w

A raw developmental tackle prospect who can play both guard and tackle. With some coaching he could develop into a good swing player who can come in and start.

Round 6: Bryan Anger P Cal

Can punt the crap out of the ball and fixes our Sepulveda problem.

Round 7: Chad Diehl FB Clemson

A true fullback. 265lbs of linebacker stuffing meat. Ha ha.

That concludes the Mock of Ages IV.

"The Final Pre-draft Mock of...adsfadsfadfadsf. Must've died while typing it."

"Oh come on! You don't think he'd bother to type adsfadsfadfadsf into a keyboard, he'd just say it!"

All in all not a bad draft there...Would like to see them draft a QB somewhere in there. Maybe replace your OT with the QB from Boise St....??

There are comp picks in the 7th as well...

If you want Moore from Boise, he could be there...thogh I don't know if he would fit in an offense designed around Roethlisberger....

If that is how it played out- Chadman would be happy. You'd be short 3 7th round picks, but happy..
