I'm so happy for this ex-Steeler that he has a chance to be more than whatever he's been doing for a year ... but why did it have to be with an AFC North opponent???

Funny that the arena league passed on him.

what's the over/under for how many days until he gets injured?

Heh, I wonder what the over/under is for how many times he drops a pass then fakes an injury.

Hope the kid does well, just not for the Bumgals.

Mentally and physically the kid was ruined in Pittsburgh. I hope a fresh start somewhere else does him well.

Yeah, he was highly rated coming out of school for a reason. He has some talent, but maybe Pittsburgh was more than he could handle coming in. Who knows?

Dude was never what people thought he was.
With VY running all over the place, Sweed looked like he could play, but he had alot of freedom to run routes with noone really worried about him. He's likely never going to be more than a 4-5 WR. Though I'm sure he desperately wants to get vested.

He's never been arrested to my knowledge...why would Cincy be interested in him? ;):bungalssuck

He didn't seem to have a problem running routes and getting open. He just couldn't hang on to the ball. I wish him all the luck but not with an AFC North team.

I hope he signs a one-year deal with the Bengals and kicks @$$...

Then, the Steelers can sign him to replace Mike Wallace next year....
