He had visited the Ravens, so it's nice to see that they will not be adding another pass rusher. Big pickup for the Bills. Their Dline is going to be lethal now, and they take away a weapon from a division foe.

Speaking of the Ravens, when was the last time you saw a perennial contender with every player avoiding them like the plague?

Grubbs jumps
Evans shopping around in Jacksonville
Anderson barely gives them a look and goes to Buffalo
Jarret Johnson gone
Redding bye bye
Nakamura gone
Zbikowski left

So far only re-signed Birk
Ray Rice continues to sit with a franchise tag and no long-term contract

And all the while they have sooooo much cap space.

According to their boards, they only have about $5 million in cap space. Not sure if that's accurate or not, but that's what I've read.

Yeah, but that is easy to get around. Sign Rice to a long term contract at a first year cap hit of around $3M - gives them an extra $4.7M and they are close to $10M. See how easy it is. Restructure a couple of deals deferring some dough into 2014 as the Steelers have and you have money to retain Flacco and others as well. If there is a mutual desire to accomplish a deal then it happens.

What did they do with Flacco? Isn't he in the final year of his contract?

According to Rotoworld, he is set to make $6.76M with a $2.1M roster bonus in 2012 - the last year of his contract. Not sure what his SB was so his cap hit is at least $8.86M. That comes down easily in the first two years of an extension with the bigger hit coming in 2014 when the cap is set to rise. They have plenty of room if needed.
