From CBS Sports NFL site:

28 minutes ago - by Chuck Finder - Sanders: 'We had the perfect play call'
The fourth-to-last regulation snap when Ben Roethlisberger got stripped? It was a pass play designed for Emmanuel Sanders. They needed “10 to 12 more yards” for a game-winning Shaun Suisham FG attempt, Sanders said. “We had the perfect play call. But [Denver] sent the stunt up the middle, [and the play] didn’t work.” Steelers RapidReports

Errr....if Denver's stunt blew it up, do you really think you could call it the "perfect play call"?

Seriously, every play is perfect unless the defense gets in the way. :HeadBanger

What? Y'all ain't know. Every play Brucey Boy calls is the "perfect play"....as long as they execute. And don't forget the "potential" of this offense. It's so close to "sky's the limit", we can see Russia from BA's porch.

That's what you call a busted play, not the perfect play

It probably was a perfect play. If you expect 5 o- linemen to be able to block 4 rushers.

Oops.

It was the perfect play call...

It just wasn't executed properly...

Yes some calls are perfect against vs. a defensive play call...
except you still have to "execute" :HeadBanger

An apt metaphor for a season of too many underperformances at the significantly wrong times ... whether red zone, or end of games, or coming out way too flat.
