No worries on the source. I originally saw it reported via the Steelers official twitter feed and then by Steelers Digest. After those two sources reported it, it appears that it was then reported by the source that shall not be named.

Looks like Joseph played NT at Temple.

Eli Joseph was on our practice squad earlier this year (we signed him to the P.S. originally on 10-19-11, and he was released from the P.S. a couple of weeks later on 11-2-11).

I thought that name sounded familiar, but I assumed it was just because he was an Owl.

I must be slipping, but props to you Ruthless. :Cheers Good memory.

I remember the Joseph stint on the PS as well...

Man, when the Steelers like a guy (like Al Woods), they keep close tabs on him...

Chad Spann looks like he might get as permanent gig somewhere.

Judging by the video he had good vision in the hole, tried to get north and south quickly, lowered his pad level prior to contact and seemed to shed tacklers (well, at least, bad ones).

His measurables are probably not great, he doesn't look all that muscular, his competition wasn't very good and he's short.

I wish him good fortune.
