1. 35-7 and I never felt the Steelers had a large enough lead.

So THAT’S how it works? …

2. 2nd offensive play of the game the Steelers give Andy Dalton all day long and he finds whats-his-face for a deep ball to take the Bengals into the red zone. We find out last time they played that if you give Dalton all day long he will make plays. If you give just about any QB all day log they will make plays.

3. Ok, props … SERIOUS props to Redman and Mendy! They were running for some tough yards in the first half. However, it is also true that the Bengals seemed to have serious problems with tackling. On Wallace’s TD he made about 3 different people miss on his way to the goal line.

John Madden, master of the English language.

4. The only real discussion point in this game is exactly WHEN the Bengals implosion began.

5. I mean come one … it’s the freaking Bengals we’re talking about here.

Wouldn’t we all? He’s like an 80 year old kid out there.

I know the entire sports community can’t help but root for them every year to turn it around but we all know what we’re dealing with here…

6. You could make an argument that the annual Bengals “Oh yeah, we suck” moment started the last time the Steelers played them But my money is on the turnover after the Steelers went up 14-0.

7. 3 TDs in 4:14! See Thought #1.

8. Before the half the Steelers let the Bengals drive for a TD and when they get the ball back they are unable to get a first down. The Bengals would get the ball back with about 2 minutes and 2 timeouts left in the half … everyone was nervous because of Thought #1. But a spectacular punt pins the Bengals deep. The Steelers D steps up and the Bengals are only able to run 25 seconds off the clock. The Bengals punt after they narrowly avoid a safety from Brent Keisel. Antonio Brown runs it back for a TD … 28 point quarter. Ahhhh good times ….

9. Forgive me, but wasn’t that Hines Ward making an appearance in this game?

10. Boring football is wonderful. I can’t recall a game in which I had nothing to complain abou …

11. What is this “field goal” crap?

http://troll.me/images/obvious-john-madden/a-field-goal-would-be-great-but-a-touchdown-would-be-better.jpg
Uh ... yeah ... that's great John ...

A 50 yard field goal attempt?

At Heinz Field?

By SUISHIE? The only man on the planet that would make me miss Jeff Reed?

I was feeling all happy and now I’m feeling all irritated and stabby.

12. Wasn’t Bruce Gradkowski the Raider QB that inexplicably beat the Steelers a couple years back?

Yep. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Gradkowski)

13. Ike Taylor had a pick two weeks in a row. Think about that next time you are poo-poo-ing all the 2012 end-of-the-world prophets.

14. That second quarter was the most points in one quarter for a Steelers team since 1986 (against the Jets). And we all know how awesome the Steelers were in the 80’s right (6-10 in case you were wondering)?

15. Melinda Sward. I like that commercial.

16. The Bengals were flagged for over 100 yards on penalties. To put an exclamation on the official implosion commencement they ran into Kapinos on that punt at the end of the game.

17. Sloppy, mistake-riddled, terrible fundamentals … that’s Bengals football!

God, shut UP already John …

18. Perspective: The Steelers are at 9-3 and if the playoffs started today they would be traveling to Denver to face that person … what was his name again? …
It was important to remind the Bengals of who they are. And the beauty of this win is that it garners the Steelers almost nothing by way of attention. The dark cloud looming over this season is the loses to the Ravens. But we need to remind ourselves that the only thing that is more painful to our Raven brethren than a playoff loss, is a home playoff loss to the Steelers. The stage is set for a Shaudenfreude Feast. Here’s hoping the Steelers bring their extra large forks.

Yes that was nice to see. I thought the spark for the Steelers came on their 3rd possession[after 2 worrisome KC type possessions]when Redman kept driving on a 2nd and 5 from the Steelers 18 yard line for 7 yards and a 1st down. Then Ben sharpened up, the Steelers scored, the Defense stayed firm and I think that determined effort also rubbed off on Mendy.

Really, even with the very high ranking Steeler D in so many categories?---- Don't feel lonesome when it was 28-7 me and probably a lot of others were still jittery. :)

Oh BTW: Thanks to RuthlessBurgher's tip about the User Control PanelI corrected my clock problem.
