Curious if we missed out on the next Maurkice Pouncey, or if he is just so so. Does anybody know how he is doing at Miami?

All I know is he is starting. I don't think guards get a lot of hype to tell you the truth but, with being our centers brother and a number one pick, they might be giving him some press.

You have me curious now too.
I might look him up on the fins board and if I do, I'll post it here.

Just checked out a Fins board and there is a thread titled, " O-Line Sucks. " Never mentioned Pouncey but they're talking about how they (o-line) all got man handled and it's time to call Gruden or Cowher to be their new head coach.

That's right. We wanted him as a guard.

Bigger, stronger, slower and less intelligent then his brother. He is a guard, playing out of position. He also lacks the mean streak his brother has.

being brothers doesn't guarantee success. unless mike turns out to be really really special - i'd say we did all right. it's only week 2 so it's far to early to judge mike - but my guess is we got ronde as opposed to tiki.

I've watched Mike Pouncey a couple different games this year and I think he is pretty dam good. Especially for a rookie. He pulls really well, has great balance, and blocks on the second level as well as any interior OL out there. If we could've got Pouncey for our 1st and 2nd rounder I think we should've and would've done it. It was going to cost us more than that though.
