Steelers coach Mike Tomlin weighs in on a number of issues heading into his team's game this week:

The loss of starting right tackle Willie Colon for the rest of the season:

"We're saddened for him. For us, we acknowledge it's a natural part of the game of football, and things like that happen. The next man up will move on, and we would expect him to play to the same standard."

The inability of the Steelers to put pressure on Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco:

"When your opponent is running the ball at over 5.0 yards per carry you're not going to get many clean rush opportunities. They're going to be able to mix the pass in with the run. I think the root of our issue in regard to our pass rush in that football game was the fact that we never got them one-dimensional in any facet or form."

If the Steelers came out flat in Baltimore:

"I think the Ravens had something to do with that. I don't want to take anything away from those guys. I don't want to make excuses. We didn't perform well. We got beat. We got beat convincingly by a good football team. However tough the meat is, we'll chew on that and move forward."

How humbling the loss to the Ravens was:

"I think that people that know and compete in this league understand there's a fine line between drinking wine and squashing grapes. Obviously last weekend we were grape squashers."

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson:

"Legit tough guy at the quarterback position. I believe his teammates and his organization recognize that. That's probably one of the main reasons he was voted captain. He's a quality dude, a competitor. That's my personal experience with him."

I disagree. We were grapes. Ngata and Suggs were grape squashers.

I don't expect any w(h)ine until we face Seattle this weekend.
