...did you all see how well Hines did on DWTS last night?!?

 Just kidding folks!

Of course, of course, I would never desecrate the sanctity of the NFL draft in favor of
such non-football activities!

However, it is coming down to only five couples left this season and once again
Hines is tied for first place this week after his dazzling tango last night. The judges
were a tad hard on him, but I think they are pushing him to be even better.

Also, "The Bus" showed up to watch him in rehearsal this week! I didn't think Bettis
had changed much at all, but his voice sounded a bit squeaky and I thought what's
up wit dat?

Anyways, even if you couldn't care less about dancing competitions, I'm urging everyone
who might be remotely inclined to do so, to go online and vote for Hines next Monday night! The competition is tight and fan votes could make all the difference in the world.

What better way to pisc off our NFL nemeses around the league than to have a
STEELER win a world championship in anything this year! :tt2

He should tape his name to his forehead to motivate himself to dance better

Agree! He needs all the Steeler nation support. He is doing very well.

Text, call and vote online.

Let's go, Hines!!! :tt1
(love all the TT in the audience too!)

I may be in the minority, but I'm not a fan of Hine's dancing.

in response to this quote from our newest poster, insanesteelersfan:

"I appreciate Rashard trying to explain himself. But if he is so Christian. And put ABSOLUTE belief in everything it says, then why did he agree and stand up with Peterson in that Slavery comment ?.....when truth be told,,,Rashard should quit the league, and become an ACTUAL Slave. I mean, doesn't the BIBLE say that as well Rashard ?

Titus 2:9 Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them

1 Peter 2:18 Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.

First rule of Life Rashard, you can't believe, and hold one particular passage of the bible without absolutely BELIVE and HOLD all of them. So I guess I can expect to see Mendenhall quit his job that pays him Millions,,,and then change his name to Kunta Kinte really soon. And start working in the fields.....right ?"

Hay, hay, hay...stick to the subject matter!

Flippy, what exactly don't you like about Hines' style?

Granted, as cute as I think he is, his dancing isn't really as attractive
as I think the mental approach and effort that he puts forth.

I think he's as "solid" as it gets on technique, but lacks a bit
of the dramatic flair that might otherwise cause me to swoon.

However, just the fact that he was ridiculed by his teammates, who you
think would have seen him out clubbing and knew he couldn't dance, and
yet is becoming a genuinely good ballroom/latin dancer has impressed
me so much.

I can't help but be excited for him and hope he wins!

He's technically sound, but lacks a natural rhythm. I hope he wins and all, but he just looks a little awkward as a dancer - maybe a little out of his element.

I don't know anything about dancing really. But Hines looks a little stiff and uncomfortable. But he keeps getting great scores, so he must be doing things well from the technique perspective. There just isn't a flow like there is with some of the others I've seen.
