Fair assessment, but you wrote, "NFR Draft Analysis-Heyward will be at his best as a 2-gap 3-4 DE. He is very strong vs. the run but lacks elite pass rush skills. His inconsistent senior year will drop him into the lower third of the draft."

Were you thinking lower third of Rd. 1 or Rds. 5-7?

The first round Leb. The thing is I really see Heyward best at a 2-Gap 3-4 like the Patriots play as oppsed to the 1-gap 3-4 the Steelers play.

Ohio State had the 2nd best defense in the nation, only behind TCU, and they didn't play nearly as good of opponents that Ohio State did. And Cameron Heyward WAS the straw that stirred that drink. I don't buy for a second that Heyward is not a good pass rusher. His stats were down in that area cause everytime a team passed against them, Heyward was constantly the guy that was double teamed, and sometimes triple teamed!

Wait and see fans, once he gets our system, and how in OUR 3-4 Defense the D-Linemen are constantly shifting around, and looking for that open lane, Heyward will be a Beast! Dude has too many skills, and goes all out on every play, just like Ziggy does.

Once a full time starter, I have no doubts that even in a 3-4 defense, he will get 8-10 + Sacks a season.
