I haven't seen anyone post it here yet, so I thought I would. Gosselin has one of the best reputation as a " Insider ". And has predicted ALOT of past picks correctly that no one else got right. Comments please.

I think they may be looking at Williams as a safety, which is where they need help.

I agree. Not unless the Jets are gonna dump that over-paid loud mouth Cromartie. And start their 1st rounder from Boise State this year. And use Aaron as a nickle CB, and maybe a starting FS. Also, not to disrespect Mr.Gosselin but, why would Atlanta select Phil Taylor ? If anything, if they took a DT it would be Hayward. He is a Local Georgia product. And played in a 4-3 defense, which Atlanta uses. Taylor is more of a Pure 3-4 NT.

But hey, who am I to question the MAN!!

the jets dont generate any QB pressure unless they send a boat load of guys after the QB

IMO, they'll take heyward before we do.

they are much more in dire need along the DL then we are

For what it's worth, each of Gosselin's 3 mocks each year has its own purpose.

The first mock leans toward his personal draft board.

The second mock leans toward team needs.

The third mock will be the players he thinks each team should draft with their selections on the clock.

Yes, but... He did go with a lot of other teams' top "needs" this first draft. Just not ours.

Heyward would be a quality pick. I would have no problem with it.

I would expect that his third mock will be the one submitted to the Huddle Report which keeps track of these things.

I think it is remarkable that this guy is leading in the 5yr averages in both the top 100 players drafted and also the top 32 mock drafts. Considering that just about all of the household names in that business are tracked including guys from those prospect draft services etc.

He obviously is a great assimilator of info. Since by his own admission he doesn't really have time to do any scouting and can only watch a limited number of games etc. I found this out on a search a couple years ago. His primary job as a writer for a Dallas newspaper keeps him really busy and even he is surprised at these results.

Very interesting that he does not list Sherrod anywhere among his top 32.

No wonder he can claim to be right so often.

He didn't say the Packers will take Dalton (or that New England will take Locker either). He is projecting trades there (just doesn't specify who will be trading up to get those QB's).

Then he should just write that they're gonna trade down. Cause if they select a player, they cannot trade his rights. Not until a new agreement. And by that time, they will not have any leverage. But I suspect he means that those two teams will trade down.

I still don't think you get it. He is saying those are the players being selected in that position. Not the team that will be doing the selecting. He thinks NE will trade that pick to another team who will select Locker.
