how about move up to get pouncey and sign a guy like Carlos Rogers. we all know that Dowling won't see the field year one, but Rogers would.

NJ-STEELER

I would like that

Rodgers will likely get a big contract. That's not really the steelers style though, chasing expensive UFAs. If they lose Ike though, it becomes imperative they do sign another corner

If they do lose Ike I agree. They will have to step out of their comfort zone and sign a solid to good FA.

Yea, it hurt for me to list two Bucks at the top of my mock, but I think Heyward and Chekwa are just what the Steelers need in terms of a very good DE who will really fit into a 3-4 scheme and a very fast, physical corner like Chekwa seems to be. I did sneak in a Nittany Lion in Rd. 7...

I would that draft, add in trade back in round 2 and still draft Williams in the second, and with an addtional 4th select BPA at OL such as Pinkston.

Thanks! It must have been my in-depth, expert analysis of Steeler needs vs. players likely available OR a lucky guess. Probably the latter...

Ha, I just noticed this thread. My mock is pure WVU homer. Not a realistic one. I have been so busy at work that I didn't have time to do a real mock this year. There is no way we would take 4 WVU players in a draft. To much talent from other teams to do something that silly. I would still take Neild and think about Devine if he was still there in the 4th though.
