Sounds like a good tackler but doesn't have a nose for the ball. I guess that makes him a prototypical Steeler DB. :HeadBanger

I rather try and find a playmaker.

Hey SKL

Any write up on DeAndre McDaniel, another Clemson DB?

This guy sounds much better. We need a center fielder like Ed Reed. Somebody who can make game changing plays.

Says he needs developed. That leaves out our defensive staff. When is the last time they developed a CB?????

Just think, they could draft DeAndre McDaniel and Marcus Gilchrist, team them up with Crezdon Butler, and we'd have the potential for an All-Clemson secondary (with the exception of one long-haired Trojan, of course).

By the time Butler, McDaniel or Gilchrist would be allowed on the field, Troy would likely be thinking about retiring. Never forget the 2-3 years required to earn a Masters Degree in Defense at LeBeau U.

He had some off field issues but it was in his first year. He has come a long way. I would not mind Steelers drafting this guy in 3rd Rd. I think he is worth the risk. A Safety with ball skills. He would be an instant upgrade over Clark in a year or two.
