If healthy, at 29, he would be an upgrade over an aging James Farrior.

I personally think Sylvester is going to be the real deal. Farrior is going to be with us at least one more season. Not that I like it.

I agree with you...but Sylvester is unproven and Barnett is proven. And he could be had cheaply (maybe a 3rd, 4th or 5th round pick), and would save money as they could release Farrior.
