Too bad it wasn't Chadman holding the Steeler's 7th Lombardi. But it's still a darn cool story about a Packers fan from Rome.

How cool would it be to get to hold the Lombardi and be on the field when your team wins the SuperBowl?

it can't be the greatest fan story ever told if it involves a fan from the team that denied us our 7th Lombardi...sorry.

One day a couple years ago, I was sitting in a bar in Lake Worth, Florida and started talking to an old man with a new Steelers cap. I couldnt believe my ears when he said he went to the first Steeler game in 1933 against the NY Giants. He was 7 years old and his Dad took him to the game only to see them get 'destroyed'. By my calculation, that made him 82 years old and he looked it.

I like to say i met the first Steeler fan. Definately not a bandwagonner :tt1

Still second to that phillies fan that ended up drinking champagne in the locker room after their WS win.

There's thousands of better fan stories than this one.
