Goodell has a made a habit of protecting players and coaches of the NFL from "unnecessary" scrutiny. He has destroyed evidence, refused to comment on the specifics of closed door discussions of sensitive issues, and had a keen interest in aiding in the rehabilitation of players......until this week. Now, Goodell is engaged in straight tabloid journalism. Since Roethlisberger has worked so hard to rehabilitate his image, done as the league has asked him, tried to engage players, fans, and media with greater sincerity and humanity, Roger has decided it is time to mention that other players all told him that they dislike Ben as a person. Roger didn't do this when it could motivate Ben to change his selfish or self-righteous ways. Roger did it after Ben has (by all accounts) given his best effort to change his personal approach. Further, Goodell did it when Ben was about to play the biggest game of the year. Either Roger is stupid (and we know that isn't true), a gossipy, vindictive school girl (possibly), or a conniving fox who uses his position to advance a strange personal agenda that involves trying to turn the NFL, the nation and possibly the refs (see James Harrison stories) against the Steelers.

There is little doubt now that Roger Goodell is quite comfortable with James Harrison and Hines Ward being known as dirty players and Ben being perceived as a terrible human being. It must have been very important for Roger to remind us that Ben was a terrible person this week. With the media in collective agreement that Roethlisberger was trying to change and grow, it was a strange time to say something spiteful and mean-spirited about the way he was. Further, it was first attributed to his teammates and later to "other NFL players." One thing we all know for sure, we'll never know who these "other NFL players" are because Roger believes in protecting the NFL's coaches and players from "unnecessary" scrutiny.

I know few Vikings fans in my office and they hate BADall to the core.

I am pretty sure there are few other teams fan who hate him too.

Maybe its time BADall ask "OTHER" NFL players about Roger Godall and see their reactions. Maybe he needs to suspend himself based upon "OTHER" players opinion on Roger GODall.

Screw BADall...
