View Full Version : Convince me I'm not nuts...

As everyone knows, the Steelers fortunes turn on my every move...what jersey I wear, what I eat, where I sit, what my game day routine is, what channel I watch he game on, etc.

The universe lines up in certain ways to give me clues that I'm doing things right.

Of course, this whole year has been about the number 7.

Well, on my Comcast cable lineup, the NFL Network has always been channel 777, which was simply more proof that the numbers favored the Steelers.

But this morning I awoke to find that NFLN has been moved to 860 as they reshuffled the channels to go all-digital.

So my question is... :wft? How do I now live my life knowing that not EVERY indicator points to the Steelers.

Please advise...

Your premise is sound, but your interpretation of incoming stimuli is flawed. The new channel simply denotes that Hines Ward will single-handedly win the Super Bowl.

Not only Hines, but Greg Warren too.

It's the secret code showing the two key players to a Super Bowl XLV victory.

Convince you you're not nuts.

Hmmm

Nope, can't do it! :moon

j/k :D

I do know what you mean. I bought a new pair of steeler sweat pants last week. It took me an hour to get dressed Sunday because I couldn't decide whether wearing them would be good luck or bad luck.

in a superstitious post I made last week, I think I found out we are all nuts,
I friggin dont let people go the bathroom when good things are happening for the sake of my "good urine" system. However, once things start going bad, I encourage people to let all their inner body happenings to be gone, for they are bad luck...

860 . . . zero means nothing, so take it out, which leaves you with 86. And what number falls between 8 and 6????????????????????????????????????????????//

7

All that being said, you're still crazy, MSP. But the mojination of 7 is still there.

As an aside, I always thought that outside of locals, Comcast nationwide was correct. My NFLNHD is on 181.

This means that we are going to win 86-0 in the most lopsided Super Bowl ever!!!

Well Steelers have one Penn State player....so that should be enough for Steelers to win SB.

Now this is not original...from other Steelers forum

Steelers logo contains three hypocycloids.

Blue - Seahwaks
Red - Cardinals
Yellow - Packers

You are nuts.

The SuperBowl rests squarely on my shoulders.

And I have a lucky new hat.

We'll be fine.

As long as it isn’t Rodney Dangerfield’s “free bowl of soup” hat from Caddyshack everything should be fine.

8+6=14
7x2=14

Worry not there is still a connection to 7.

Speaking of 7:
If you add the age of Ben the first two times he won a super bowl 23, 26 plus his current age 28 get 77.

Coincidence? I think not!

I still have my Christmas tree up. I won't take it down until after the SB. Whenever the Steelers make the playoffs the tree stays up until they are eliminated or win the SB. Now that is nuts.

its a simple averages situation, MSP.

(8+6+0)/3 = 7

three numbers (3 current super bowl victories) averaged together to equal one number (total franchise super bowl victories)
