My sent PMs stuck in "Outbox" - anyone else see this?

What I mean is, they don't seem to move into the "Sent" box, they just sit in the "outbox". Does anyone know how to nudge them into actually getting sent?

I believe they sit in the Outbox until they're read. I don't think it's under your control.
