Raven's Birk may be out for the game

Ravens signed C/G Bryan Mattison from their practice squad.

Starting center Matt Birk is questionable with a knee injury this week. Mattison adds depth in case Birk aggravates the injury -- or perhaps is unable to start.

Ravens RB Ray Rice sick

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice started feeling sick Friday afternoon and had been vomiting at the team hotel in Pittsburgh early Friday evening, according to ESPN's Bob Holtzman.

It's unclear whether the illness will affect his status for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh.

Rice had 17 carries for 57 yards and five catches for 42 yards and a touchdown in last weekend's AFC Wild Card win against Kansas City.
