Players the Steelers could consider

Northwestern-OT-Al Netter-solid upper mid round OT prospect
Texas Tech-DT-Colby Whitlock- possible 3-4 end prospect
Florida-C-Mike Pouncey- we all know the story
Florida-DE-Justin Trattou- rush OLB prospect with a great motor
Florida-CB-Janoris jenkins- great cover man, unlike any Steeler corner we ever draft
Florida-S-Ahmad Black- fantastic player with size concerns
Penn State-C/G-Stefen Wisniewski- more of a center prospect than G
Alabama-QB-Greg McElroy-will make someone an excellent no. 2
Alabama-OT-James Carpenter- 2nd round prospect who will have a long NFL career
Alabama-DL-Marcell Dareus- probly is best at 4-3 DT but has intriguing athleticism
Mich St.-ILB-Greg Jones- top ILB prospect probly wont get a look because of needs elsewhere
Mich. St. -CB-Chris Rucker- excellent off man corner, too many off field issues
Miss.St-RB-Vic Ballard- power RB in the true sense
Miss St.-OT-Derek Sherrod- may be the #1 OT picked, no chance here
Miss.St-OLB-K.J. Wright- may fit best inside in a 3-4
Mich-DT-Mike Martin- unreal motor, probly a 4-3 DT though
Mich-OG-Stephen Schilling- tough and scrappy mid round prospect
Wisc-OT-Gabe Carimi- will most likely be long gone by our 1st round choice
Wisc-OG-John Moffitt-solid run blocker with limited upside, solid tough player though
Wisc-DE-J.J. Watt if he declares and is sitting there at the end of the 1st rd. tough choices will have to be made
TCU-OT-Marcus Cannon-probly projects to OG at first with potential to kick outside later
TCU-QB-Andy Dalton- would have to be temping in the 5th round or later
TCU-S-Tejay Johnson- solid tackler with plus ball skills

The UF/PSU, MICH/MissSt, and MichSt/ALA games are all on at 1 or 130
you also forgot Will Hill from Florida, he's a pretty darn good safety too.

Honestly I didnt forget Hill, I would be surprised if he comes out though. He needs another year.

Forgot OU/UCONN

UCONN-OG-Zach Hurd- massive road grader OG, would look great in steeler uni
UCONN-ILB-Greg Lloyd Jr.- he aint the old man thats for sure
UCONN-OLB-Lawrence Wilson-solid all around OLB
OU-RB-DeMarco Murray- really would add a different dimension to our offense
OU-WR-Ryan Broyles-catches everything but Steelers dont need a 1st round WR
OU-DE/OLB-Jeremy Beal- best standing up as edge rusher
OU-FS-Quinton Carter- overrated FS who is probly more of a SS great character
OU-SS-Jonathan Nelson- ironically is probly best at FS/ former corner/ solid player

isn't 6'7" a little tall to play OG?

Stefen Wisniewski impressed me a lot in today's game. If he has a great combine he could easily end up as a top OG going into the draft.

I thought Wisniewski and Mike Pouncey both looked great today.

Long torso. Has suprisingly good footwork and balance. Pulls very well.

I agree. I think Wisniewski would rate higher because he has legit Center skills along with ability to play Guard so you get two positions in one. Pouncey may have higher value for us hoping there is something special with his brother.

If picking interior OL in Round 1 I would go Wisniewski as my first choice.
