Dear Mr Rooney,

1. Hand out shirts to every fan at the next home game that read "Roger Sucks".

2. Alter the Renegade video and put Roger's head on every player that gets hit by a Steeler.

3. Create a secret bounty of $1M for each and every knock out blow delivered by a Steeler player. That'll cover the fines. Show the league they haven't seen dirty yet.

4. Help organize the players to file a class action lawsuit against the NFL and Roger Goodell for unfair fines. Claim the fines are risking player health and well being.

5. Call VInce McMahon and ask him to set up a cage match between Goodell and Harrison. Check that, call Dana White and ask him to add those 2 to his next pay per view. I'm sure all of Steeler Nation would pay for pay per view that week.

6. Have Tomlin add a goon onto the roster with the sole purpose of taking a cheap shot at someone and getting fined. Bring goons to the NFL a la the NHL.

7. Buy some extra TP for the players and if they happen to TP Goodell's house, all the better.

8. IF those sound retarded (and I'm not suggesting they aren't), just take a stance and tell Goodell to go flip himself.

Your Pal,

Flippy

Seriously.. if its only 25K and no game suspension, bring in a practic squad scrub each game and go after the QB after a play to try to take him out.

You don't think other teams aren't thinking of that to do on Ben?

It's only 10K for a first time offender. Bring in a new goon every game. And always remember, punch/slap the knee.

I'd be all for this strategy, but i think coaches can also be held accountable now.

That would fall on Tomlin.

Not that it would ever happen, anyway, but it's fun to dream...

So.. where is the accountability for Cable?

Did he receive a fine or anything?

I'm not sure how the rule reads. I thought I saw that coaches could be held accountable for coaching their players to play outside the rules.

He should have if he put Seymour up to slapping Ben, but I doubt he would have done that, and if he did, he should have his head examined.

You don't send a star player after another player. You send an easily replaceable scrub.

Dude, if we could have two Troy Polamalus don't you think we would've done it by now?
